Enseignements scientifiques à choix

The purpose of the project is to grasp the basics of patent and to learn how to search and analyse patents. Upon completion of the course, students will have a good understanding of patent documents, patent family structures, scope of protection, etc., as well as a good command of the search tools and other on-line resources to analyse various aspects of a patent.

Working on the project will also require some technical understanding of the invention and of the prior art, the invention being preferably in the broad field of microelectronics, semiconductor materials, and/or measurement systems.
